At our practice, we utilize Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbs sourced from Evergreen Herbs, located in California. These herbs are GMP certified and undergo stringent quality control testing to ensure their safety and efficacy. They can complement acupuncture treatments or be used independently to address a variety of health concerns based on TCM diagnoses.

Dr. Tracie recommends herbs and supplements based on your health history, current medications, and TCM diagnosis rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. What works well for one person may not be appropriate for another, which is why we don’t recommend self-prescribing based on general information online. During your visit, she will identify the formulas and dosages best suited to your individual patterns and goals.

The compatibility of herbal supplements with prescription medications often depends on the specific medications involved. In many cases, it’s advisable to take them separately to avoid potential interactions. To navigate this safely, it’s essential to work with a trained herbalist who can provide guidance tailored to your unique health situation. Always consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new supplements, especially if you are currently on medication.

It varies by person and condition. Some patients notice changes within a few weeks, while longstanding or chronic patterns often take longer to shift. Dr. Tracie monitors your progress and adjusts formulas over time so your plan evolves with you.

Some herbs are appropriate during pregnancy and breastfeeding, while others should be avoided. Always let Dr. Tracie know if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or nursing, and keep your OB provider informed of anything you take. We do not recommend starting any herbal product on your own during this time.

So I've been waiting to write an exceptional review for a few weeks now. I have been suffering with sinus issues since I moved from NY three years ago. So, my goal in going was to have "normal" sinus function. Well, right before I met with Dr. Tracie, I had two back to back sinus infections. That hasn't happened since before I left NY. Dr. Tracie had her hands full with me! She gave me herbs to help as an antibiotic to clear the infection. Well! Every time I went back, I added tens of years of cleaning my sinuses!!!
